Xiaomi India has finally brought their television to India and we're going to be taking a look at the new Mi TV which has been launched in India for a price of INR 39,999.
Which is fantastic and extremely low in comparison to some of the 55-inch 4k televisions that are available in the market today.
After picking up the television from the box put it on the table and attach the stands and that's it, you are all ready and set up to go.
Mi Led Smart Tv 4 has a pretty interesting design for a television. On the back, you'll see a brushed aluminum panel which looks pretty fantastic and if you have the television in a freestanding model, it'll look really nice from the front as well as the back.
The side bezel of the television is extremely thin at just 4.99 millimeters but it does widen up at the bottom around the ports and where all the electronics are speaking of the ports.
You do get three HDMI and two USB ports along with traditional analog connectors and optical connectors for audio. Over the front, you can see that the television has a large size of 55-inch panel having a 4k HDR display.
That means Mi Led Tv 4 not only has UHD output but also supports HDR.
Now the design of the television is extremely modern with three of its edges narrow and thin much like the Mi mix 2 and the bottom edge has a little bit of a chin and also houses the Mi logo at the back.
Also you'll see an embossed Mi logo where all the electronics are and the television does come with a smart remote which looks much like the Apple TV remote which has a little bit more functionality on it and it's not a touchscreen remote and a little bit of a pairing is required to set up the television and the remote for the first time.
The television also includes IR sensors and transfer which will allow you to control your set-top box using the sensi remote application that is pre-installed on the TV.
Hopefully, Xiaomi TV 4 will soon get Netflix and Amazon Prime video and all the other streaming video options that are available in the market especially the ones that support 4k HDR so that you can enjoy some quality content.
Right now apps seem to be in the nascent stage and YouTube also doesn't really work properly on this device but we are expecting a software update for the television which will make out better things in the future.
Now because of patchwall being installed on this television you will be able to not only organize and watch shows that you like more easily, specialists like artificial intelligence for the television and will start predicting what kind of shows you like and when you like to watch them and based on that it will start giving you recommendations on similar shows from all across your streaming modes pre-installed on this TV.
So you can watch movies and episodes and music directly on this television.
Now at a price of 39,999 Indian Rupees with the 55 inch display 4k HD smart television capabilities the device also has Wi-Fi 802 dot 11 AC and you also get Bluetooth 4.1 also if you want to connect the speakers or if you want to connect to Bluetooth headphones so that you don't disturb people around you while you are watching television.
You have that option on this television as well for the price it's a smart looking television not only does it look good it has a whole lot of smart features that one would expect from a TV in 2018.
